Time passes quickly
At that endless pace
Dogged steadily by death
Together clearing the world

But between these two
Powerful and opposite emotions lie;
Turmoil and jubilance
The great siblings of evermore

Turmoil offers the pain of a lifetime
From a small prick on one’s finger
To the suffering before his mother, Death, arrives

Jubilance, however, is an interesting one
She gives joy as her brother brings pain, yes..
However, she does not resemble her family

She gives no death; she does not pass time
But instead, she rebels against those forces

Well, during the span of time, a few of these things altered
Jubilance was abused by the Family, daily in fact
One moment, though, she decided to ask

“What is this for, I don’t understand?”
She asked with a purely innocent tone
“You undo our work, you contradict us”
Her father replied

She looked at him oddly, unable to understand
“I do it because I like to make people happy” She said
”But that’s not what we do, you fight us instead” Replied he
“And how does this happen? What do you do?”

She thought for a moment, and replied in the same tone
“I guess I’m just stronger”
“Lies…all lies!” Her father spat
“Death, turmoil and time are the most powerful of all!”

She shook her head, and her brother lunged
She simply stood, uncomprehending him
“Why does this offend you so?”
But her brother did not respond, instead he smacked her hard
She fell into her Mother’s arms, stunned but not afraid

Death gazed down at her daughter, stunned by her beauty
“Honey, you need to fight back” She told her with a motherly tone
Her Daughter shook her head “No… I can’t…I won’t”
Turmoil shouted at the top of his lungs
“LET HER GO, MOTHER! SHE IS NOT ONE OF US!!”

Death gazed at him, her eyes a cold fury
“Do not speak to me of this, have you seen her beauty?”
She shook her head “No, all you see is the fact that she may be…different”
“Mother, why do you turn against us?”

Jubilance looked up, and smiled at her mother’s words
”Stand up, honey” She said, gently lifting Jubilance to her feet

But Jubilance tripped unsteadily, still stunned, and fell forward
She merged with her father as she fell against him, time stood still
And the family could only stare in horror as they saw the bright light..
It shone from the back of Time and had a reddish hue

“What have I done…” Her mother cried
Turmoil attempted to pull his Sister out, but horribly fell in as well

The light of blue and of red now shine through time…
As time passes, Turmoil and Jubilance spread throughout lives…
Both must shine onto you, no matter how bright or dim…
But enjoy them both, before their Mother arrives
